Your artwork has a next frame. Make it move.
A finished image can be the beginning of a sequence. Use Wan 3.0 Prime to add a gesture, reveal the space beyond the frame or connect two compositions. Start with an image you already made, or describe a new scene. Prime is the speed-focused Wan 3.0 option for trying those ideas in motion.

Decide what changes after the still frame
Keep a visual starting point
In image mode, your first upload establishes the opening frame. Add a second image when the ending composition matters as much as the beginning.
Write the movement between moments
Give the subject one clear action and tell the camera where to go. For text-only scenes, include the setting, light and the moment when the action ends.
Separate appearance from rhythm
In reference mode, use Image1 for a look, Video1 for movement or Audio1 for a sound cue. Number each media type in upload order and explain its job in the prompt.
Leave room for the edit
Choose a horizontal, square, vertical or adaptive frame. Enable generated audio for scene sound, or disable it when your edit already has a soundtrack.
Read the motion, not just the first frame
These examples offer three things to look for when reviewing an animated shot.
A gesture that carries the character
In an animated action scene, a pose needs a readable lead-in and finish. Watch how the silhouette changes as the character moves.
Review the frames before and after the main gesture, especially hands and props.
An environment with its own tempo
A stormy waterfront combines moving clouds, reflections and distant traffic. Specify which layer should draw the eye before adding more movement.
Keep the shoreline or a building stable enough to judge the movement around it.
Scale told through composition
A small figure below a towering creature makes distance part of the story. A low camera and restrained movement can give a fantasy scene its weight.
Check the subject’s proportions against nearby rocks and the distant horizon.
Build a shot you can use in your next cut
Pick the starting material
Choose text, one or two keyframes, or a set of media references. Write a short description of what happens next.
Set the delivery format
Select length, resolution, framing and sound. With video references, keep input plus output within 30 seconds.
Generate, inspect, select
Review the credit estimate before submitting. Watch the whole result and choose the version that fits your sequence.
Before you turn a still into a sequence
When is Prime a useful choice?
Use Prime when you want the speed-focused Wan 3.0 tier for testing motion ideas. Processing time still depends on the request and current load; a particular completion time is not promised.
Can I use an image made elsewhere?
Yes. Upload a supported JPG, PNG, WebP or BMP as the first frame. The second image, if supplied, guides the final frame. This is separate from mixed reference mode.
What fits in a reference set?
You can supply up to 10 images, 5 videos and 5 audio clips. Each video must be 1–15 seconds and all reference videos together at most 15 seconds. The combined input and output video duration cannot exceed 30 seconds. Documents and webpages are not inputs for this generator.
How should I choose length and quality?
The initial settings are 5 seconds, 720p and audio enabled. You can select any whole-second length from 2 to 30 and switch to 480p or 1080p. A short test is useful before committing to a longer shot.
Why does adding a reference video change the estimate?
Both generated seconds and reference video seconds count toward the price. The reference total is rounded up to the next whole second for the estimate, then final credits are rounded up once. Images, reference audio and the audio switch do not add separate charges. The displayed estimate reflects your current settings.
Does this page edit an existing clip?
Video uploads guide a new generation in reference mode. This page does not offer direct video editing or extension. AI Image Editor is an independent service, not Alibaba’s official site.
